In Your Thoughts (Electric Blues)

About the song

One question. Two voices. Two musical worlds.

In Your Thoughts (Electric Blues) turns a private question about love and distance into a smoky, groove-led blues performance. Male vocals move through moonlight, lonely wind, prayer, and the hope that an enduring bond can remain unbroken. Slide guitar and harmonica answer the vocal lines, while walking bass, syncopated drums, Wurlitzer, and Hammond organ give the song its warm 1970s-inspired character. It is one of two companion interpretations of the same English lyric, each revealing a different emotional color.
